Current mission
The organization is currently seeking new opportunities to support mission-driven programs and events, especially work connected to agriculture, education, nonprofit outreach, and community engagement.
PLANT Foundation can support planning, coordination, communications, and event-management needs for projects that help people understand how farming, science, food, fiber, and technology shape everyday life.
Areas of support
- Agricultural education programs and outreach
- Nonprofit and community-based agricultural initiatives
- Agricultural event planning, coordination, and communications
- Program support for food, fiber, plant, animal, soil, and water education
- Partnership development for mission-aligned projects
Foundation roots
PLANT Foundation has supported educational programming that uses farming, food, fiber, soil, water, plants, animals, and agricultural technology as real-world examples for science learning. Through Farm Academy and Farm Academy Live, students were introduced to agriculture through live virtual field trips, video lessons, and classroom-aligned science content.
That history remains part of the organization, while the current focus is on future opportunities where agricultural education, nonprofit service, and event management can work together.
